Google Direct Interconnect monitoring integration

New Relic's integrations include an integration for reporting your GCP Interconnect data to our products. Here we explain how to activate the integration and what data it collects.

Activate integration

To enable the integration, follow standard procedures to connect your GCP service to New Relic.

Configuration and polling

You can change the polling frequency and filter data using configuration options.

Default polling information for the GCP Interconnect integration:

New Relic polling interval: 5 minutes

Find and use data

To find your integration data, go to one.newrelic.com > All capabilities > Infrastructure > GCP and select an integration.

Data is attached to the following event type:

This integration collects GCP Interconnect data for Interconnect and Attachment.

`network.interconnect.link.TxPower`	Other	Light level transmitted over physical circuit.
`network.interconnect.ReceiveErrors`	Count	Number of errors encountered while receiving packets.
`network.interconnect.ReceivedBytes`	Bytes	Number of inbound bytes received.
`network.interconnect.ReceivedUnicastPackets`	Count	Number of inbound unicast packets received.
`network.interconnect.SendErrors`	Count	Number of errors encountered while sending packets.
