Logs not appearing from CloudWatch via Firehose

Problem

Logs are not appearing in New Relic for a CloudWatch via Firehose integration setup.

Solution

Possible reasons and their solutions:

  • The API key may not be correct. Navigate to Amazon Data Firehose > Firehose streams > your-stream > Edit destination settings, and update the API key with the correct ingest license key.
  • The provided endpoint may be wrong. Verify it.
  • Check the S3 logs or Cloudwatch error logs.
